Combination of gut instincts and moral values my mother taught me

I grew up in the Catholic Church, though I was never baptized, and attended a Catholic school for 2 years. I never felt that I "fit in." Upon gaining my independence, I began studying and researching philosophy and religion, out of sheer curiosity (I never felt that I was seeking the answers or trying to find myself or fit in somewhere). I attended Temple, Synagogue, Baptist Church, Presbyterian Church, Unitarian Universalism Church, Non-Denominational Church, practiced Witchcraft, explored atheism and Various Neo-Pagan religions and, ultimately, found myself reading the Celestine Prophecy, which greatly appealed to me. Upon completing this book, my interest was Piqued in the scientific nature of religion and spirituality, as I don't believe one can exist without the other, and I found myself reading a book called From Science to God, by Peter Russell. This book is, BY FAR, the most monumental, influential and touching piece of literature I have ever opened. I have never so closely related to any system of beliefs or code of ethics as I did to what Peter Russell wrote about - Pantheism. I believe it, because it makes sense. I believe it, because, while maintaining what is, essentially, the "Golden Rule" and a respect and reverence for ALL living things, it leaves room for "error" and learning and exploring and the unknown. It doesn't claim to have all the answers or postulate. The bottom line is, no one knows, for sure, where we came, why we're here or where we're going. What is important is to believe in whatever (or whomever) it is that inspires to to be a good person and lead a good life. We are all on different paths to the same end and Pantheism recognizes and accepts this, rather than debunking other religious beliefs.

This question can be taken several different ways! Its too vague to go through all of the answers without wasting a great deal of time.

One of the more common or typical ways would be:

Based upon life experience, taught etc. which in each person varies because each person is an individual.

I believe that I will be granted 10 points. Why? They have to go to someone and I don't see why not me. Now, you see that I haven't said that you'll give them to me but since you were thinking of it you could just do it don't you think so. This is just another social experiment and I'm most anxious to see the result of it :-)

I believe for all the same reasons as other people do... It gives them something to pretend about as well... I think religion is just a form to try and keep the inner child.... Religion does cause wars so all the world is like a child playing in a sandbox...
"GOD" is not real... he is just a fictional character... but people dont seem to relieze is that there is a heaven adn a hell... but EVERYONE will go to hell if they try to live to some expectations that are impossible ....shyt just believe LIVE FAST DIE YOUNG< NO FEAR< AND DGAF

Because my beliefs answer the questions I currently have for life. When the questions change, my beliefs will change accordingly.
