You want to know if sex is OK in a Non-marital relationship and my answer is Yes it is OK. Just OK. When you're married, It's Grrrrrrrreat! (when you can get it.)
Jokes aside. Allowing yourself to have sex before being married will build in some distrust. If you marry later, you will know that you were able to convince her to have sex before being married and will wonder if someone else will be able to convince her to have sex outside your marriage. If you can deal with that, It's OK.
Be prepared to deal with some distrust issues. You can overcome the issues with open communication of your feelings.

First of all..... I think you're both awesome for already waiting a year. The final decision is completely between the two of you. I hope you have an open enough relationship that you can talk about it with each other.
Just please keep in mind that birth control is a must at this point in your relationship. Children (as wonderful as they truly are) are a LOT of HARD WORK. And your life would NEVER be the same.
Good Luck!

Sex between consenting adults is always okay. Freedom of sexual expression is part of both your rights as human beings. Just be sure to use protection, at the very minimum, you should wear a condom, and she should definitely look into going on the Pill or another form of contraception.

Yes it's okay. Just don't get pregnant. Use protection. You don't want a baby yet. Mostly religious people just feel you should not have sex until your married. It can be a good thing to do, but there is nothing wrong with doing it before as long as your responsible.

well...if your going off bible standards and your worried about that then you should not have sex. the bible says pre marital sex is a sin. if you could care less what the bible says then you have been together long enough and sounds like you two have respected each other and got to know each other so it may be time. wish you the best in luck and remember God should come first but that is your decision.

Depends on your believes! I think its fine specially since your over 18 and been 2gether for a year I dont see any harm, but you have to make sure u stay true to yourselfs so if you rel. believes tell you, you should wait until marriage wait. If not make sure it is special and use protection. Good Luck

Don't forget to discuss the consequences, if she does get pregnant (and there is always a chance) are you ready to deal with that? Map out ahead of time what you would do in any given situation, including being caught by either of your parents.

Have fun and wear a condom or you will pay. No girl is worth a check for the next 18 years. I always ask if the girl would get an abortion. If she says no then bye.

unless you two belive otherwise then go for it but make sure that both of you are ready. if you're both spiritual and belive the bible then no don't do it because it's against the bible. think about it and discuss it and then do what you decide. if after you two have sex and you then change your mind then just don't do it any more. ever heard of a "born again virgin"? hope i helped
