There is a nuclear missile pointed at us...what to do?

To all of the Americans on here, surely you have heard about the nuclear missile pointed at us? North Korea has it. I wonder if they will discharge it, and whether or not it can reach us. Our government is currently debating on what to do. What do you think?

Yes, N Korea has a missile that could potentially reach the mainland US. And yes, they have nukes. But they have not yet been able to build a small enough nuke to mount it on the missile. THey are still a couple of years away from being able to launch a nuclear missile at the mainland US. This does not measn that we should not be concerned, however. There is a missile defense system in place for the US that *may* work, but I think the better deterrent is the fact that the US has several thousand nuclear weapons ready to go at a moment's notice. North Korea will not directly assault the US unless Kim Jong Ill is truly suicidal, which I doubt.

I think our government is silly. We invade Iraq under false pretences (where's the WMDs? prove Saddam's terrorist links to al-Qaeda!) yet North Korea willingly admits that it's seeking to build a nuclear weapon (a WMD!) and our goverment is seeking a diplomatic solution with them. Should I add that NK is also a communist country that oppsesses its people?
