The Liberals are only concerned with one thing and thats to be in control. When they dont get there way I.E Michael Moron, John "flip flop" Kerry and Ted "The Drunk" Kennedy among others ....Cry like two year old babies. When is this country gonna wise up and see Libs for what they really are??

Our Commander in chief is doing whats best for this country. Deal with it.

It's really sad that there are people who think upholding constitution principles is idiotic. It's sad that we've become so polarized as a country that simple having different constitutional priorities is grounds for ridicule and hatred.

Both ends of this liberal-conservative political spectrum are working to uphold the Constitution. Each just focuses on different aspects of the Constitution as most important.

For those who haven't read it, in the Preamble to the Constitution, there are five goals (values) of the US government: "establish Justice, to ensure domestic Tranquility, to provide for the common Defense, to promote the general Welfare, and secure the blessings of Liberty"

Conservatives think the most important are "to ensure domestic Tranquility" (meaning to promote conformity with 'traditional' ways) and to "provide for the Common Defense".

Liberals strive to "promote the general Welfare, and ensure the blessings of Liberty".

Both sides want to promote Justice, but they have different ideas of what constitutes justice.

So, the fact that you and others are claiming liberals are idiots simply because they strive to achieve the goals set forth in the Constitution really says something to me. And I'm sad for all of you, because you've obviously forgotten the reason this country was founded.

First of all, if you had read my question correctly, nowhere did I mention Michael Moore (I believe you spelled his name wrong, just thought I'd clear that up for you). The video I mentioned in my question had absolutely nothing to do with him, if you had even bothered to see for yourself. And nowhere did I say I believed the film I saw. I was in fact asking if anyone had seen or read anything to support this claim from the video. I didn't just take what I saw as factual. I was obviously questioning it. Second of all, just because you disagree with Michael Moore's views or anyone else who is "liberal" does not classify them as idiots. I do not (as do many others) agree with the views of "conservatives" or anyone who is not "liberal", but does that make them idiots? No. I think someone having their own views or beliefs is actually pretty smart. The only people who are idiots are those who believe what someone else says without questioning it themselves. The ones who go that extra mile and question or think for themselves are far from being idiots. Those who punish or ridicule others for being different are the real idiots. So, which are you?

Sometimes it may seem like they are, but Liberals are just doing what they think is best for our country and the people who live here. They have the ability to think for the people as a group and they don't get side tracked by personal thoughts when it comes to making decisions that can effect everyone. For this reason a Democrat is a very honest person and a very planet friendly person at that. Democrats would never be responsible for trashing their planet. They love their country and it's people and that is what guides their decisions regarding! God blesses Democrats, God doesn't seem to be blessing America much anymore, don't you agree?

Liberals don't want to ensure the blessings of liberty, they want to take it away. They put standards on speech where if you disagree with them, your racist. They take away free economy capitalism and are trying to replace it with socialism, ( which by the way, has never worked). People are so oblivious now a days that they don't know what a successful economy looks like. Liberals are single handedly destroying America and everything it stands for, and I believe that we conservatives need to restore it to its former glory.

Instead of being a follower and trusting what the current corrupt government is doing maybe you should find out what is actually going on and find out for yourself instead of allowing yourself to be brainwashed by the Republicans. Funny...I find myself conflicted...on some things I could be considered liberal and on others a conservative. I believe there's a bit of both in all of us. Labels are useless and only have meaning when you add the word FANATIC to the list. FYI a FANATIC is one who believes his/her stance is right regardless of any evidence to the contrary. Pres. Bush is a great example, lol!!!

what is your purpose in asking this question? obviously you are showing a right leaning bias. are you just trying to illicit reactions from the public? i cannot say i blame you though, because this is what the media in the form of talk radio and sensationalist news programs have taught us we should be doing instead of having actual conversations about the issues.
