I know people say even if your a nowadays witch. its a belief. more than ability. meaning... you believe in the wonders of the earth, the magick that lies within. and to move things without touching is for Holywood. Well is that true? I know of the old ways of the witches could and did things.( my family has many stories of those(witches ) who have passed on) but you hear less and less of magickal abilities nowadays. can one obtain these abilities or is it fading from us? if anyone has one or more. please tell me about your abilities.

I don't know what you mean by abilities.
Moving things without touching them is called Telekinesis, and while I'm sure there are witches who can also do it, it's not a witch thing. You can't change the shape of something, or stop time or make the sun and the moon run backward or anything, but we, I mean, myself and the other witches with whom I associate can, and have healed others, and also made them sick, caused and cured insanity, increased and decreased fertility in plants, animals and humans, and caused various machines to act wacky. I have personally caused nymphomania, impotence and car trouble, though not always on purpose. Many of us are able to communicate with animals, and we are also able to communicate with each other without the use of a telephone.
Ex. My boyfriend lives 600 miles from me, and we are able to enter each other's dreams, feel each other's emotions and communicate with each other telepathically. I made a charm to aid us in doing so and we each carry it always, but we probably don't need it.
Let's see... shapeshifting is a skill some of us have, but it's not what you think. It's more of a glamour. Astral projection is a simple feat, travelling in spirit form, entering people's dreams, spying on them, etc. Channelling spirits is also pretty easy, if you let it happen. In both cases it's a matter of allowing it to happen and not freaking out.
You can't turn someone into a toad, but a very skilled witch can make someone think they're a toad or give someone a toadish aura, if that makes sense to you. You can't defy the laws of physics, just can't be done.
Anyone can learn to do these things. These are innate abilities, like speech that are easily learnable. However, much like speech, if you are discouraged from doing it as a child, or never learn it, the older you get, the harder it is.

our family bloodline goes back very very far as wiches and warlocks.
we however are 'white' ( as some call us) witches, as we never harm anyone or anything.
Yes i do have some abilitites of which you speak, but when you abuse these 'powers' or abilities, you lose them. You must use these gifts for God, and that is the only way to develop them.
it is not impossible to learn some of these things, but if you arent 'born' into the line, it make take longer for you to learn. its like this: anyone can learn to play the piano, but very few are actual concert pianists. I may have more developed abilities than you do, but you can certainly learn to do some things.
remember, but for the grace of God, there go I. be humble- love God and do good. also- there is the law of threefold return.
any bad energy you send out multiplies by at least 3 ( ive seen it that some have gotten far waorse than 3fold) and then comes back to you.
the old saying ' you reap what you sow' applies to all witchery.

I'm an old-fashioned hereditary. Well I'm half-hereditary half gypsy, but yeah. I think they are slowly fading mainly becuase a lot of people just don't want to believe or don't have the necessary knowledge and power to pull out the older more complex abilities. No one devotes their lives completely to study anymore, and even in hereditary families like mine knowledge has been lost or taken to the grave.

If there are real witches, how would you know all their abilities? Some things are made up just to be entertaining. But if there was any, I think my mom might be part and me even littler.
It might be gypsy like but my mom use to see like spirits. She use to tell people their fortune and things like that but stopped when she was pregnant with me. She said the spirits where threatening her or something similar to that. Any fortunes she gave out came true, or when she says something is going to happen.
This one time she said this guy was going to crash into the car next to her when she was on a date. Sure enough, it happened. The car next to them was crashed into. She said this lady was going to fall because of her heels, though it may be coincidence, it happened. My dad always wins at poker when my mom tells him good luck (even if it's a little). When she gets mad at someone, something happens to them.
Me, I found out that when I say a certain phrase before I say something is going to happen, it happens. But if I do it purposely, it doesn't work.

I am a practicing Wiccan and i have some abilities. I can move the flame of a candle with my mind ( i do this in my witchcraft room my mom let me have so there is no air currents). That is called pyrokinesis when you move a flame with your mind. I also can hear things that are going to happen in the future.....example....I was getting ready for bed and i heard a tire screeching in my ear, after that i blacked out and fell to the groud where i was standing and fell asleep. The next morning i told my mom and when we got to the stop light to turn, we heard a tire screech and they almost hit us. My aunt is also a witch and she can make the weather rainy or sunny by chanting one of her chants....example (this is one of the rain chants that i have).... RAIN CHANT: Goddess bring the rain down, giving life to the ground, energy to feed the seed, mother natures gift to me, God bring the rain down, giving life to the ground, energy to feed the seed, and a healthy harvest bring, So mote it be!!

Why do you want to know?Those "abilities" are present in all people, witches have no fear of using what ever talents they have. Yes I have many secrets.Your family's secrets should be used properly and kept with in the group.

i used to be a witch who practiced sexual witchcraft and weather magic.....i silenced thunder & also was able to give women spiritual orgasms, but God woke me up, and i accepted JESUS. the "powers" i had before are now wher they're supposed to be for His will to use. believe you me sweetheart, times are changing, and someday i think you'll wake up to this fact.
