I would get a job as quickly as possible. I would look for the cheapest short term housing I could find until I stabilized my situation. You would be amazed at the help that is available if you know where to look.

Many churches will help you, especially if you have children. Food banks are a source of free food. You get the picture.

In the end, it is up to you to work yourself out of the bind you are in. If you apply yourself, you will quickly do so.

Good luck with your situation.

I was homeless before. I just went to the shelter if it was winter, and if it was summer I slept outside. Or stayed with people I met. I just did normal everyday things, except I had noplace to go afterwards.
