No. I have had numerous clients come to me to refinance them out of the mess that Ditech put them in. They will sneek fees in and bait and switch you on the rates.

I went thru them before and it was the worse mistake i ever made, because of the hiden cost as well as the rep. i used lied to me over and over, becareful about giving information to any loan broker or mortgage because it can lower your credit score big time.If you are looking to refinance or get a loan i have research California with every title company and escrow company to find the best loans with the most honest people that will work with you and not to rip you off. e- mail me and i will be happy to give you some names of real honest loan officers

I used to have a home equity line of credit with them (about 2-3 years ago)., and was happy with them. They don't widely advertise it for some reason, but they're actually a division of (highly reputable) GMAC.

I heard they have a lot of hidden fees & high points & you end up paying more than you should for the refinance.

A guy at work warned me not to use them.

Yes they are. But they are only useful if you have perfect credit and make good money.
