Why doesn't God stop evil directly?

There has to be evil to balance things out. But also God gave us free will. So we have the choice to stop the evil in our lives. We can live our lives true to God or we can choose evil. That's the beauty of it. God gave us free will, thereby giving us choices in what we believe.

Because "IT" does not wish to stop it! At least not yet.

Remember IT actually created evil as well! All things! (according to the text).... The beginning and end, alpha and omega etc etc etc.... Therefore IT KNEW before Lucifer was created what would transpire, it KNEW Adam and Eve would falter, it KNEW that all things now which are "evil" would exist in the manner they do!

If Adam and Eve were indeed "perfect", they would not have been capable of being lied to and making poor choices! "Perfection" dictates that even with free will they would have KNOWN they were being duped! Which leads your question to a more important one, why?

This "experiment" will run its course and when finished will end or change or get replaced. In the meantime.... evil is part of the equation, deal with it as best you can and try not to be that way yourself, that's really all anyone CAN do. ( And if possible ask your question to IT directly at some point)!

If you believe in God, then you believe He created people for a purpose.

If that purpose is to grow and develop then people have to be free to choose. If you can't choose to be good or evil, then you are not a sentient being. You are a robot. A puppet.

If its going to make any sense at all, it has to be true that God has made us agents unto ourselves. We can choose evil. We can choose good. We can choose neither. Otherwise, whats the point?

The problem is alot of people kick God out of there house.Like school for example or federal buildings.God is a polite God and if you ask him to leave he will.Everyone has choices to be good or bad.People have to pray and ask for his help.You ask that protect the ones you love.But you also have to understand that if the ones you Love ask him to leave he will leave.My daughter asked why did that happen with the twin towers.I said honey there are some things we have to wait to ask God but it was a federal building and they did everything they could to kick God out.I hope this has helped some. The very religious people who just believe blindly will probably tell you that "God works in mysterious ways"... which might be another way of saying "We don't really have any proof that God is listening, but if you twist things around a certain way you can make it seem like a divine being intervened."

I'm very agnostic... so I don't know yet where I stand in my beliefs... but I kind of feel like, if God can't just give you an obvious sign that he is there, then he either doesn't exist or he's just an asshole.
