Need some help from all those who text?

My boyfriend is totaly clueless when it comes to texting and I thought that with some of ur guys help I could compile a list of all the short cuts we take when we are writing each other. If you could write down some simple phrases so that I can compile a list for him it would be helpful. Thank u

umm, i don't usually use short cuts b/c T9 doesn't recognize them. so for me it's quicker to write the word out.

i usually leave out small words though.....like:

k gonna put pizza in oven.

i figured. i home. when will you b?

it's taking long time to get home. we hit big traffic around DC.

those are a few messages i've sent recently. i just leave little stuff out and mainly use nouns and verbs.
it sounds awful when you read it like this, but texting is short and sweet.

pic - picture
r - or
a - of..... as in " can you send me a pic a you?"

for the most part just remember that almost everything will be misspelled to make it shorter. it's like typing in ebonics really. take a letter or two off anywhere you can but still making sense.
