It was some slob that worked for the city that did it. I took down the number and license plate number of his truck, called to police and pressed tresspassing and indecent exposure charges and also called and notified the city DOT and demanded disciplinary action. He was fired and he was sentenced to two years in prison, but was placed on 5yrs probation instead and had to do 5yrs of community service.

Ask them to spread it around the garden and to come back often. There is a hosepipe ban around here!

If there was a digital camera handy I would photograph him in "action" & take it to the police, where he would be charged as it is an offence to pee outside.
If there was no camera I would open the window & pour cold water on him so that he had to explain to everyone why he was wet.

Take a picture and email it to the police department or print it out for the cop that I call to deal with it. Yes, it is illegal to do that. It's called Public Urination and is a misdemeanor offense.

thank them for watering it. That would confuse them and make them think of another way to piss me off, and they probably wouldn't do it again. And if I was fast enough, I'd take their picture and blackmail them with it.

assume they needed to wee desperately and hope they did it in a discreet part of the garden I wouldnt report it
