My dream is to establish a take out restaurant /kitchen to provide for/ feed the homeless / street people and the needy children of Toronto with healthy, nutrious meals at $2.00 per meal, 3 times daily.
This take-out food center will be able to cover all its establishing /start-up expenses and be self sufficient by the end of its first year.
The larger bakeries, supermarkets and food manufacturers have assured us of their support with products below wholesale in return for us displaying their names on our establishment......all we need is someone to step up with the initial investment for the kitchen equipment and over head expenses....which ...as previously stated will be completely repayed within the first year.

Do the homeless have to pay for their meal? How it sounds in the question is homeless have to pay 2.00 per meal. A lot of times, these people do not have money. If it is for others of the public, you might charge a higher price and set aside a portion of the proceeds to help the needy. Also, any leftovers, you could send to a soup kitchen for the needy. You might contact your local (not sure of term in Canada) government agency to let them know of your desire, show them where you have contracted (you should set up a contract with those you have talked with that say they support you, so as not get a retraction on their part) support from the local establishments and find out the who, what, where, when and how...of all help you can get. Check if in your area, there are any restaurant establishments that are going out of business to see if you could get a discounted rate on their equipment... let them know also your plan.

Apply for a grant. Try the Walmart or Target, maybe even Starbucks. They all have grants for programs. Incorporate yourself, try to establish yourself as a non-profit. Check the laws of your state.
Make up a business plan, throw a fundraiser, get some media coverage. When you get a "no"..keep going.
