Go to the doctor. Cramps that bad are NOT normal... even though it is pretty common to hear about them. It sounds like endometriosis... or at the very least like you have elevated prostaglandin (the hormone that causes the cramps, we all need some but too much can make you miserable).

The doctor can tell you what is wrong and what your treatment options are.

You can always go to the doctors and have them prescribe a medicine that reduces cramping. I did and they work way better than anything else that I have ever tried.

talk to your doctor, but there is probably not much he/she will say that its normal,if you are young the cramps are worse. well for me it was ,i would put hot water bottles on my abdomen it helped, lots of Advil or googys powders. i had bad cramps up until i had my first baby, now i dont have cramps at all,( but that dont mean for you to have a baby to get rid of the cramps). I know how you feel.

Get checked out for hyperinsulinemia. It can lead to low blood sugar, which makes cramps more crampy, and pain more painful.

It is a hormonal imbalance that can cause other hormonal imbalances.

For basic info on hyperinsulinemia, you may want to check out www.hufa.org.

Go and get checked out by a dr. This sounds like endometriosis to me. I've had it for 13 yrs. and had to have a hysterectomy for it in May. Best wishes to you and I hope you find an answer to your problem.
