Happend once, I guess it was that old 7 year itch thing? We were having many problems , growing apart getting less and less interested in each other, Anyhow my husband went back home for approx. 6 weeks ( another country far far away) over the Christmas holidays yet! I became lonely, I had run into an old friend and he showed me some attention, felt exciting again! It just happend no plans to happen and only once, when it was done he left and that was all. Yes I felt bad, but here's the really funny part of the story, My husband had gone back home to see his ill mother whom he hadn't seen in years, had a fling too, I found out because of a pic he had brought back to brag to all of his friends, one night he had been out late drinking with his friends, came home drunk went to bed, I had been home all night with no cigarettes so I went into his coat looking for a cigarette and guess what I found? Yep the pic of him and girlfriend! so actually we both cheated but we got over that because we really do love each other and still together 23 years! Why cheat? I really don't know why he did? I don't know exactly why I did either, I was angry and lonely and it just happend and yes there was so much guilt involved!

A lot of women cheat on their husbands because something is lacking in their relationship. Be it love, attention or simply because they like the trill of it (adrenaline pumping from the thought of getting caught). Remember when you first fell in love, how good that felt? I mean over the years of being with one person, life becomes predictable and boring.
Many feel bad afterwards because they know what they did is wrong. That someone will get hurt because of their lack of inhibition. Others don't feel bad because they come up with justifications as to why they did what they did. Maybe they felt that their husband is doing it too, that they don't love their huband or that being with someone else and feeling special is worth whatever the outcome will be when they get caught.

There is no reason to feel bad because I don't cheat. To me cheating is discusting. When 2 people get married they make that commitment to be with one another and only that. I really don't understand why people cheat. There is so many diseases out there. People can loose everything for a 5 minute deal.

Yes, lots of women do. I have not. I would say some do feel bad, some don't. My sister did and she felt bad.

Don't cheat and then you won't have to worry about things, like....getting caught, getting pregnant, catching std's, feeling guilty and the list goes on and on and on.
