There really is no comparision between a cd and iPod. If you got a cd you can only listen to those 12 songs from the same artist. With an iPod you can listen to every single cd you have. To import songs, open iTunes, pop in a cd and then it will take you to an import songs screen. Using an iPod is very easy, use the click wheel to scroll around the screens and pick which song you want to listen to.

Creative Media Labs' Zen Micro series is better than the iPod. Apple ripped Creative off when they made the iPod, and Creative filed a patent-infringemnent lawsuit over the way the songs are catalogued in the iPod - Creative has a patent (sort of like a copyright, but for an invention) on the method used by Apple's iPod to index the catalogue. Here's the website for Creative:

if you have to ask HOW to use an ipod, you probably don't deserve to have one. stick with the cd player.
