First you need to get the PCO under control. A fertility specialist can help you with that. A great start is to maintain a low carb diet. Once the PCO is under control, your periods should become more regular...and therefore, so will ovulation :)

It's not impossible to get pregnant with PCOS, but it is hard. You should see a RE (Reproductive Endocrinologist). I have been pregnant twice in the last year, both resulting in a miscarriage. I'm IR (insulin resistant) & I'm on 1500 mg of Metformin a day. I'm also on a low calorie diet (1500 calories) & I'm doing infertility treatments. I have been on clomid for the last year, but the doctor is moving onto Gonadotropin next month & hopefully that will work.

I've had PCOS since I was 13. First, you need to get that under control. Usually, your doctor will suggest fertility treatments. It's much harder to get pregnant with PCOS, but not impossible.

well i jus got diagnosed with that.... I have a child and my dr. said i got it after i had him.... but ur dr. should put u on metformin and i guess thats all..... do u see a fertility dr? some times metformin will work other times u have to do other things... but u have to fix ur hormones.... have u read stuff about pcos?

are you ir? are you on metformin? have you tried clomid? i also have pcos i am starting clomid at the end of july
