Protein, Carbohydrates, minerals, vitamins, water. Yes carbohydrates for body and brain, but "whole" carbs like whole grain, brown rice, brown sugar. If fact it's about time commercial food like ice cream and baking used all this. They don't add weight because the vitamins enable metabolism. That's the best I can contribute.

The best way to stay healthy is to eat the recommended number of servings from each food group based on the food pyrimid. Also try to drink atleast 32 oz or more of water a day and limit your intake of fats and sugars.
