Call the police and report it. No point in making it personal and risking getting hurt.

This happened to me once. Actually I found some guy arguing with a customer over it in a second hand shop. The guy had bought it but it was bust and had brought it back right at that moment (that was the reason the thief didn't give me the bike back - he'd actually borrowed it, then broken it, got embarrassed, and sold it).
Result: I bought my own bike back from the shop.
There was a very good reason for that but I'm not telling you what it was. No it is not sexual.

first when you bought the bike you should have written the serial number down and have proof of purphase also a photograph of your bike in case if your bike which been stolen you have proof thats your bike if you have no proof then either quietly get your bike back so in case there saw you then they can say oh your stealing their bike thats why im saying do you have proof evidence, then the best thing is call the police and have a witness that yes that is your bike and they 've stolen it. Good luck i hope you get your bike back and remember always write the bike serial number.

One of my tutors at uni told me a really cool story about sommert like this
One of his neighbours had scratched his car, so he went round and said "listen mate, someones been going round scratching the paint work on cars round here, so in the future, hows about you look out for my car and I'll look out for yours when the other's not in so it won't happen again"
It creates an illusion of community and togetherness. You never know, you might just find your bike back if you do this.
Unless he's a complete idiot. In which case get the police out.

Get the cops involved! Don't be afraid...if you do get the cops involved they can definently stop the person from stealing other people's bikes...not only can you get your bike back...youi can help others too. Same thing happened to my neighbor...and now the kid won't even take alook at other people's bikes. So trust me....Good Luck!

I would go get back my bike, and ask em why they stoled it. Maybe even talk to their parents. If it wuz a good reason, they took it, I might let em borrow it fer awhile.

I know: Steal the bike back, and ring their doorbell. When they answer, throw it at them. j/k. That wouldn't be smart. Either call the police or go have a word with the robber.

ring the police and let them know!!! My parents did that when a lad stole my three lions tape when it first came out. The police went to his house and got it back and i never had trouble from him again!
