I love watching them but the last one was way to gross (The Hills Have Eyes) and I want one that isn't as sick but just as scary. Also, I want a real funny movie too. Any suggestions?

For scary, although they aren't super scary, I like Sleep Hollow, Ghost Ship and 28 Days Later.
For funny I like Zoolander, Super Troopers, Little Nicky, The 40 Year-Old Virgin, Goldmember, Old School, Anchorman, Saving Silverman, Monty Python and The Holy Grail, Superstar, Dodgeball, Tommy Boy, Wedding Crashers... I hope that isn't too many, I just love comedy!

Why would you want to watch a scary movie that's not gory???? Where's the fun in that? But I suppose if you must have one that's not "gross" try when a stranger calls. and i agree with wohooalicia, big daddy for a funny movie.

To avoid the gross out factor but still have a suspenseful movie you have to watch some of the older horror movies. Alfred Hitchcock for instance. For funny movies I like stupid funny like the Naked Gun Movies.

because suspense can be JUST as frightening, if not more so, than blood and guts.

If you want suspense without the blood and guts, go for old Alfred Hitchcock films... any of them. Very creepy! And old school Stephen King like the Dead Zone, Salem's Lot, Children of the Corn... mmmmmm scary.

If you want a funnier kind of scary, try OLD Vincent Price movies...he just can't be beat!
