Do you mean Betty Boop?? The cartoon icon. I remember her... I'm old and remember her when they ran old cartoons of her on TV. She was first made in the 1930s (before my time). :-)

I think the reason you are confused with her name is because her signature phase (or word) is "Boop-oop-a-doop".

Yes Betty Boop is francised through King Features in NYC and is a wonderful cartoon character that has brought us years of joy. She taught alot of little girls how to wink and flirt cutely. My mother's favorite and continues to be mine.
