Wholly unacceptable. If I had it my way, there would be no government welfare system. If I wanted to support someone who was financially hard-off, I would do it by choice through a charity, not by force through taxes.

No it isn't! Many do it though, I have no problem with those that truly need it for life. I think the scammers should be caught. I also think that some sort of community work program should be in place and in order to get welfare you must contribute to this program.

absolutely, you will never achieve the happiness that comes from having your own success for one and the other is that the government does not make money it takes it from its citizens and then gives it to you. I work and struggle, you do nothing and get taken care of. Is that fair?

no......no...no.....if we have to work our butts off then so should those people on welfare...i can understand when u need a "little help"...but what i cant understand is women having babies after babies just so they can receive money from the govt.....what kind of life is that?!...and frankly us taxpayers are tired of it....
