A trick to keeping the mind busy on something other then the outcome of something keeping the hands busy. I don't know why it works it just seems to.

I would make to-do lists and get the house clean, go shopping, make a fancy dinner, read all the newspapers I don't have time for, sign up for a social club, take a walk, something like that.

The very paradox happen when you decide that there is no unimportant things, and there is no priority then. If every thing is equally important there is no importance any more, all you have to do is do your best...then you do not have to wait prior to "importance" , for all things is important and all things is not...then you smoothly shifting to another sequential task to solve, while previous one will be accomplished without your suffering presence.
