This is a question that has been asked to me for as long as I can remember. We are all here to serve a specific purpose in life. Your purpose may be small or it may be something huge. Me, my purpose is to solve peoples question and brighten the lives of the people all around me. You can't just ask this question. Why don't you try to find yours?

Why assume that there is a "why" as to why we are here? All that we can ultimately be certain of is that we are here. We are born, we live, we die. There is no reliable evidence that there is a reason for our lives or the experiences in them.

Because the many cells of which we are comprised multiplied and formed the body and brain we think of as our"selves". We are here because two cells from our mothers and fathers carried half of the DNA needed to reproduce human life.

"Why" implies that there's some pre-ordained purpose to life.. There's no evidence that life has a purpose. Our immediate, short term purpose, is to reduce pain and increase pleasure....other than that, all is lost to oblivion.
