Ok so I am trying to drive to Allentown PA from Wurtsboro NY and considering all this flooding crap going on...I want to know if there is any websites or numbers that can give me a route that will keep me away from any roads and areas that are going to be closed...Can anyone please help me with this bc I really dont want to have to go through a hundred detours just to get there...Thanx:)

PennDOT's website is being updated regularly with road closings: http://www.dot.state.pa.us/

Go to "Design and Construction", then to Regional Information and click on the region you'll be going thru.

You can also call AAA Mid-Atlantic and get them to plot a route for you: http://www.aaamidatlantic.com/travel/default.asp

Call your local NON emergancy state police number and have them give you the number for the NON emergancy state police in PA

I always use mapquest.com for all my directions. I haven't had any problems with closed roads or anyhting, and I live in Louisiana.
