oh its good news, it means you have come to the part of you life where things go so fast. unfortunately for you the dont go so good. so since the elevator is falling fast and not rising fast, you are going to loose the best things in your life... fast! the speed at which the elevator went down. trust me on this i intepret dreams.

well deams usually have meanings. its sort of what your sub-conscience is tryin to tell you something. if your in a non-stop elevator then your probably in a situation that u probably feel, but dont show, is out of control. is there something big happening in your life right now. like a wedding our something that might change ur life. if you cant stop the elevator in your dream then you probably feel you cant stop the situation.

you life is out of control you feel like you are over stressed and feel like you have no control over the events in your life. is the elivator like the one at your work. i used to dream i was in bed at work and people kept asking me to help them i would respond with i will help let me just get 5 more minutes of sleep. this was when i was a 24 hour emergency system engeneer. a system would go down i would get up at 2 in the moring to fix it. the dreams evetually made me leave becuse i could not get a good nights sleep

I think you already know that this means you feel your life is out of your control...things going too fast and you are helpless and stuck. Do some SERIOUS meditation to find out WHY you are feeling like this!
