It's now come out that soldiers portrayed in the movie had no idea of the angle & true subject matter. Their statements were also contrived in a way that was dishonest & misleading to the point that one of the soldiers is now suing him for millions of dollars!

No I've seen Fahrenheit 9/11 and while I know a lot of people took it as purely fact, I know that he was going to mold the film to illustrate his point. Most people who saw it know that there are facts in there but not all of it is as it seems. The fact that a soldier is suing him for money is odd. I'll be surprised the soldier wins because I'm sure he signed a release for his appearance in the film. It is up to the film maker to portray it as he sees it and I'm sure the soldier knew that. Now he's mad and he wants money. It's all a little shady if you ask me

Do I feel foolish for having watched one of the many opinionated viewpoints of the 9/11 attacks? No. None of us has the means to verify any 9/11 opinion as fact or fabrication, do we? I have an opinion, but I am the first to admit that I did not reach my opinion by digesting a full serving of verifiable facts.

We're all puppets, and we can't even be sure who's pulling our strings. All we can do is gather as much data as possible, and hopefully we're smart enough to find the truth as we sift through all the lies. Of one thing I am certain: if you find yourself solidly in one camp or the other, consider yourself duped, because both sides have done bad things... things they should be ashamed of.

If you saw this film believing it was 100% accurate, then you're a fool to begin with. I personally believe that maybe about 25% of it was accurate/true, & the rest was personal bias or taken out of context.
The best true part was when he asked a congressman to enlist. Talk about being put on the spot. It showed how politicians really act & behave.
Did I feel foolish for watching it? Nah, I rented it on DVD & knew what the premise was.

As the saying goes, believe nothing you hear & only half of what you see.

I didn't see 9/11 but did see Bowling for Columbine, that was VERY enlightening. I don't think it was so much they didn't know subjecy matter/story angle I think it's more they're mad they didn't get a cut of the profits from the movie and THAT is why they're suing. can't wait to see 9/11

So? Who cares. People sue each other all the time. The recruiter was so eager to make his quota to sign up those poor jobless kids from that depressed neighborhood to go to Afghanistan and Iraq to serve as fodder for a corrupt government that his death if it was not so hard on his family could seem as no more then poetic justice.

A. you have to see something to make up your mind about it... only a Republican would ask if someone "feels stupid" for finding out what something is... you don't know if a book, movie, idea is stupid until you read, watch or hear it...

B. hahaha... and all of Ann Coulter's, Bill O'Riley, Rush's and Hannity's facts are completely true and never taken out of context... hahaha... that's also been proven wrong... do you feel stupid for listening to them? of course not, you have to hear what they are saying to know if you agree or not... guh

suing for Moore for showing something that particular soldier said on camera knowing full well that the cameras were there.

Must be the dictator in chief ordering him to sue.

Anyone who doesn't realize Moore's films are nothing more than dishonest, manipulated propaganda are just stupid.

Why shouldn't someone sue him? Kerry sued to prevent some war vets from saying what they wanted.
