Um, you really can't. There isn't much you can do to change the sex of your baby. There are so many people out there that can't have children or don't have a partner to have one with, you should be happy with what ever you get. When it is finally born, you really don't care what's between its legs, just that it's all yours!
Oh, and one other thing, all of you judgemental people out there that are giving them a hard time about getting married first.....I don't think that was the question, if he wanted some stupid judgemental people's advice about marriage he would have asked for it! My guy and I aren't married yet, we have been together for a long time and yes we are working on our second child, oh and we live together too! People don't always have to get married to have a loving committed relationship, sometimes there are other circumstances the extenuate the situation.

I don't think there is anything medically speaking that you can do to increase your chances of having a girl, but ask your doctor. I don't want to preach to you about marriage, but it is true that it is soooo much harder to have children if you are not married. You may not see it now, but before you get pregnant think about the middle step first- Marriage and committment. Any future children will come after a strong foundation is built and will be better off because you made the choice to plan their environment ahead of time. ok, I have said too much. God Bless.

you know what, me and my husband wanted a girl so bad, so when i got pregnant, i was so sure that it was going to be a girl, we already had a name picked out. We got the ultra sound and it is a boy. I was so devastated, so sad but so guilty at the same time. after two weeks, got over it and picked out a name, love my son very much and would never trade him for a girl. I'm pregnant again and this time, i wanted a girl again, well, it's another boy, i cried but i was more prepared this time than the first. Right now, we can't wait to meet him. I'm due in 3 weeks.

You can better your chances of having a girl if you want a boy. I wanted a boy and am having a girl. If your lucks anything like mine you will always get the opposite of what you want but who cares what it is anyways you will love it no matter what.

Wow morons, this is 2006, who gives a **** if he is married? As for Polo's comment to "wait until your older and get a job", that has to be one of the dumbest things I have ever heard, you have no idea how old he is or what kind of job he has. Grow up people, and stop trying to force your beliefs on others.
As for trying to have a girl, you will just have to hope you are lucky, unless you want to spend thousands on artificial insemination.

there is no proven way to increase your chances of one sex over the other. so dont believe it if people tell you to stand on your head or something! just prayer, and you dont have to get married! the most important thing is that the baby is healthy!
good luck!

well there's this one procedure that you can do that has an 80% success rate. but i think it costs around 100,000. what they do is they take the egg, fertilize it and do some stuff to try and make it a certain gender, then they will inseminate your girlfriend (that doesn't sound right if she's your girlfriend), but you should get married.
