Is it possible to breed mice and get them to be as big as a small dog?

No. I've bred mice for 6 years & studied mouse genetics -- it can't be done in my lifetime without some serious (science fiction) genetic engineering.

Yes...just get rats and tell everyone they are large mice. Norwegian rats get as large as small dogs

Yes, they're called rats. Not actually the same species as mice, but very close.

Rats make good pets too. Not the filthy sewer rats. There are some really cute ones at pet stores.
