I seriously doubt it. All are people of your race predediced against those froom shrevport, TX? Of course not! Sure there are some who are racist, or prejediced, but not everyone is. Try not to lump all into one category just because a few behave badly.
I was told a story once which really helped me alot. A man went into a town and asked the first person he say what the people were like in this town as he was thinking of moving. The guy he aksed asked a question back, "what are the people like were you live now?" The newcomer said, "They are rotten, mean people, and this is why I want to move.". The other guy said "well that is what you will find here too". The guy left. The next day another man came into the town and asked the same fella the same question ' What are the people like here, as I am moving my family here?" The fella asked him "well, what are the people like where you live now?" The guy replied "Oh, they are just the nicest people you would ever want to meet!! , I am sorry to have to move but I need a better job." The fella replied 'Well, you will find the same type of people here as in your home town".
The moral of the story is this: You get what you expect, if you expect bad things then that is what you see all around you, but if you expect good things you are more likely to see the good than the bad.
