You're cool. All human beings are 'weird' because everyone is unique. Nobody has the same thoughts, preferences, interests, desires, body chemistry etc as you, and that's the great thing about humanity. It would be so boring if we were all the same.

People like others who are memorable in some way. There is nothing better than somebody who has 'something about them.' I much prefer interesting 'characters' than drab and soulless conformists. There are many interesting characters in my world, and I'm grateful for all of them.

Don't buy anything into other people's negative comments (or even a couple of the replies to your question!) Tell yourself the following positive things. Remind yourself of your own greatness

I am a worthwhile person
I love life and I love me
I have many great things to offer the world (and you do!)
I am fine exactly as I am

If anyone has a problem with your character, then that is THEIR problem. Their insecurity and narrow-mindedness. As long as you are not harming anyone, then carry on being you, because you can add so much to the world.

Send out your spirit and cause a stir!

Being weird is normal, I would rather be weird other than being just the same as anyone else. That tells me that I am one of God's Children because God likes variety. Not only that, but it is not like people to have the same appetite in everything, it is not a good thing to be just like everyone else. As Bishop T. D. Jakes say, that people are being your adversaries because you wont settle down for what is called normal.

can you imagine a world where everyone was freikishly alike, i have an identical twin sister and having two of me is pretty weird.
if everyone was the same we'd have nothing to call our own, we'd blend in to the background instantly! So its best to cherish what makes you unique, if you dissown your own unique qualitys you'll end up feeling lost, your difference is good, it is your fingerprint in this world, its your identity!
Show your colours! dont put on the camouflage honey! Be who you wanna be, do it for you!

It sounds like you have not yet found likeminded people. You need to go and find others who like the same things that you enjoy. Join an organisation called Spice. It is a group of adults who enjoy doing similar things. Put it into google and you should find out more details.

You need to boost your self esteem.

It doesn't matter what others think, you need to self evaluate. To put value on things yourself. Ask yourself this: If someone else did this would I think they were great? If the answer is yes then you have put a high value on that aspect of yourself. If no then how can you take steps to improve.

You are just what you are meant to be. Start to accept yourself and value the things about you that are great and improve those you wish to. But, remember no one is perfect. People like another because they are a mix bag. Also we can't please everyone because everyone likes different things. So we need to please ourself and then find other like minded people to share our time with.

I know that I am weird, and I think it has many advantages. For one thing, when someone falls in love with you, its going to last because you know they will never find anyone like you.

The worst fear I have is fitting in and NOT being weird.
I thrive on my uniqueness and my ability to NOT fit in. When I read personal adds that say "I am just your average guy" I skip right past it. Who would want to be with an average person?!!

I want someone who does NOT fit in. I want someone that embraces the differences that we all have like I do.

I say, "Go, You!" Unique is way cool. I've been normal, average all of my life. Your unique qualities obviously give you an edge. Make the best of them. Get noticed for the best of your unique qualities! Celebrate your lack of average!

To give a chance to variety in the world, individuals and communities should try to cultivate their respective idiosyncrasies and all the traits that make them unique. Unluckily we are heading towards globalized uniformity. Individuals tend nowadays to dress, speak, act, eat etc the same everywhere.

All the best people are weird. All my friends agree. They're all weird. How can anyone have an interesting conversation with someone who's not weird? Weird good.

Wave your freak flag high! There is nothing wierd about being different. It's the people who challenge everyday thinking that create change in our society. Go out there, be proud of who you are and make the world conform to your standards of "normal". If they can't accept it, then it's their problem, not yours. You have the freedom to express yourself, never let anyone take that from you.

I have been called names all of my life as well. Yes, it does make you a stronger unique person. People only call us names because they themselves are insecure in themselves.
