It really depends on the grades of your classmates. If they all got A's, then you will be in the lower 10%. If they are more scattered around, then you will be in the middle somewhere. I'm guessing you are on the top 20% (or 30%).

Depends on the type of school you school you went to and the type of school you're going to. I went to a magnet high school and they did not rank students. However my GPA, was in the top 10% for the small private college that I attended and I was in the Honors Program there. If I had attended a larger university with numerous students with similar GPAs I probably would have been in the top 20%. Talk with your guidance councelor and the admissions counselors at the schools your interested in attending.
