Why do guys only like skinny girls?

It is a matter of taste. I have a few friends who actually like larger women. I don't look down on him at all. I like smaller women I don't know why. I do like a little meat in the but and hip area. Those are the things I am most attracted to.

Men simply like what they want or in some cases can't have.

i'm sure not ALL guys like skinny girls, but for the most part it's the way media and society has portrayed skinnier girls... It's rare you see a movie with a beautiful, average size 12 girl with a hot guy. It's just a brainwash on society... everywhere you look there's skinny models posing in ads for EVERYTHING... whether it be an outfit, yogurt, sunglasses, etc. Society looks down on women with curves, so some guys have it in their head that skinny is the norm.

Guys don't like only skinny girls.....I have dated so many men that say they only like skinny chicks and I am so not a skinny chick...they tell me Im the "acception"....men are visual creatures and for some reason they tend to choose women that society displays as the desired breed. Men come in different sizes, shapes and flavors as women do. You cant allow men to justify your body type, you have the option of choosing too. Dont date men who only like skinny chicks...look for men whos minds are more open than to what size pants you wear. Skinny chicks are for whimps and who likes a whimp? not me....

I was 98lbs and a size zero when I met my husband. After having our son, I have some hips, I'm 125lbs and I were a size 5. I know that I'm still small but I'm not skinny or slender anymore. Anyway, my husband likes my body alot more now. He thinks the curves are so sexy!

That is not so true! As a male before I got married, I love all kinds of girls. I loved women who can be sexy, despite their sizes. I really believe that a true man knows the difference. I personally think that, it is in fact the women, who subject themselves to be disrespected based on the way they look, and outcome of the way they outcast each-other due to size. While on the other hand, guys of all sizes practically get with a woman, and this does not occur for women.

dur alot of guys out dur who like fat gurls. its just that if you're white (4 da most part) without hips any fat on you will hang off the side and dat aint sexy.

Personally I find skinny girls unattractive. From behind, you could be looking at a 12-year-old boy. Girls should have curves.

Im a man and I like both skinny AND curvy girls. Its a myth that men want only model thin girls. Look at angelina jolie--she isnt a thin model --very womanly and curvy and was voted by mens mags as the most beautiful woman around. or look at marylin monroe --very voluptous and curvy --not a thin stick model at all. She is considered one of the most beautiful women of all time by playboy (a men's mag!) magazine!
