God found it desirable to create us and the angels with free will. Thus, when he created Satan, he was created for the purpose of being an angel of light. Through his own hubris combined with free will, Satan chose to be the evil being we know today. Unfortunately, man used his free will to choose to follow Satan. Now God asks man to use his free will to repent and be reconciled to the Creator. Stop blaming God for man's bad choices.

Although God created the angel that would become "the devil" , he created himself. He was actually a beautiful Cherub, a protector of the Garden of Eden. He became so enamored of himself that he began to want to have the same authority as God. So he tricked Eve into disobeying God to prove he could be ruler and people could decide for themselves what's best.
The question then is, What is the world's condition proving the case to be? Has there ever been a Government, Society, Ruler, President, King or anything else that has brought peace, security, happiness, health and prosperity to EVERYONE? So, Can we rule ourselves? No.
It's not God being jealous or vengeful, He is simply proving his point, by letting time go on and letting mankind get the chance to rule themselves. The point being Does God, our Creator deserve exclusive devotion and obedience? If Adam and Eve had not sinned we would still be perfect, living on Earth in a paradise, forever. If God would have destroyed Adam and Eve, the devil and his angelic followers that question of "who deserves to be called our Sovereign Ruler" would still remain.
And if you think that stupid, parents are technically rulers over their children, and as such children need to be respectful and obedient. God gives us his rules through the Bible and it takes continued vigilance to maintain that obedience.

No, He created Lucifer as an angel and then Lucifer decided to be Evil so God removed him from Heaven. Satan only has limited power. In all reality, we have more power because we have the authority to tell Satan to leave us in the Name of Jesus! He has to obey. So really there is no reason for fear or worry. Sometimes we just forget how powerful God really made us.
And He is not vengeful. He gave us "free will" which is very generous actually. He could have made us mindless drones! But he let us choose to do what we want. And when Adam and Eve chose to disobey, they chose the consequences involved.
And he could have wiped us off the face of the earth after that, but instead, he sent His Son Jesus to take the punishment for our sins so tha we could have the opportunity to live in peace in heaven! He is a forgiving God! :)

God wanted to create us so that we could know and give love. To really give true love one has to give it as a choice, with a free will. So God made us with a free will, risking the fact that some would chose not to love Him. He wanted us to love - not obey like mindless robots! All the wrong in the world has come from us not choosing to follow God, and because He is perfect he CANNOT let wrong go unpunished. That is not because he hates us it is because he HAS to hate wrong. God loves you. Just try and see how much.
I have been a Christian since age seven and I have read and studied the entire Bible over 20 times (after that I lost count) so I have "read all about Jesus". I wish you could study it all the way through a few times looking for the love instead of the judgment - it is then that the judgment makes sense.

In point of fact, there is no verifiable evidence to prove that God even exists. As to some of the statements you reference that are attributed to such a God, these are mainly found in the Old Testament. The stories in the Old Testament arose from the desert people of the Middle East, living primarily in Stone Age conditions and possessing Stone Age knowledge and understanding of their world. These are people who didn't know the world was round, that the world was a planet, or that this planet goes around the sun. They had no knowledge of the Western hemisphere and no knowledge of China: we know this about them because none of these facts are mentioned in the Old Testament. These stories evolved over time as an oral tradition until such time as literacy became common enough for someone to write them down. So, after centuries of alteration and evolution, these stories, now written, became the subject of numerous councils and rulers who also chose to alter them to suit their beliefs and needs. With so much revision, it can be difficult ascertaining with any certainty what, if any,of the original material remains. And, due to such extensive revision, the Old and New Testaments as books flow unevenly and are rife with contradictions. Anyone interested in desert mythology and/or messianic mythes will probably have a much easier and a vastly more enjoyable time reading the "Dune" series by Frank Herbert.

FYI- the devil was originally an angle who like to sin and wanted to do everything his own way so he was kicked out of heaven and went under ground. Into the debths of what is known to us as hell.
But anyway, Where was god when there was no earth before he created life and all it glory, before the 7 days, was he just floating in space? People can say the bible was just a really good book that someone wrote. There are alot of unanswered questions

I dont think the total aspect of the devil is true, I look at god and him as co-workers on the perfect human project, now god did all the work and did a good job at it, and satan worked on another maybe and alien race, or what we consider when we think of evolution(maybe they had other co-workers working on it as well, and thats why it seems we evolved, but then again i do believe in evolution so..), but then satan was upset when god finished his project and said I bet there not perfect as you think, so now throughout our history god and satan has been in a long line of bets, trying to prove our perfection, and the bible acctually list one of there bets(Job)
Ah, angels dont have free will, according to christian doctrine, only people do, and thats why satan turned on him
And if you read the story of Enoch, who walked with god, then was taken into heaven, you would know that it wasnt lucifer who disobeyed god, it was some other angels, and they were the ones casted down and placed into the ground. Lucifer isnt even spoke of in the old testments, the only thing we call satan in those texts is the serpent, and since Lucifer was the angel of light, and there is still light in the sky we must commit to the fact that he is stillone of gods favorite angels, and is still in heaven

Whoa--that question sounds loaded.
God created all of His "beings" with Free Will including the angels. Satan was created to love God and serve us humans like all of the other angels gladly do, only he was jealous or angry or something and decided he could be better. So God allowed it, yes, to test us humans! Evil is not something to joke about or play around with. God allowed evil in order for us to be able to overcome it and "hone" our spirituality while on Earth. All the "bad" in the world exists because of the people who choose evil over God.

Yes God said, "In the beginning I created the heavens and the earth. So right off, yes he was a powerful force that created not invented. And for shame to speak of God as a jelous and/or vengeful God.
God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son.......so that you may have eternal peace........
I worship God, and his son Jesus Christ. And actually Satan was the right hand angel to God.......But thought he was better then God.....So God banished him to the pits of hell for 2,000 years......Guess what Guys....."HES BACK" and when you spew nastyness about God..........Well for this I assure you you will have to pay the price......For I am not here to judge you....as there is only one Judge that you will go before. And as God also in his infinite wisdom gave each and every one of us free will......It is of course your free will that makes you who you are.......
So by all means, believe what you wish.......write what you wish.......and.........

NO. He did not say that. He did not mean that. God is merciful, kind and loving. He gave us choice. He gave us all this thing called free will. So you have a choice. The reason that we are here today is because Eve chose to listen to the serpent. She ate the of the tree of "Knowledge and Good and Evil" and gave it to Adam. So she had a choice because God gave them the rule.
They could do any thing but eat of that one tree. He told them if you eat of this tree you shall surely die. She CHOSE TO eat. She could have made the CHOICE NOT TO EAT.
So he is a GOD all about free will and choice. You have a choice to do bad things in you life and you can do something really drastic and go to hell OR you have the CHOICE TO serve him and abide by his rules then you can go to heaven, BUT the thing is you really have to be sincere.
