Who is the best female singer out of Mary J, Mariah, Celine, Whitney or Christina Aguilera and why?

I personally think Mariah has the best vocals although Mary J. Blige is my favourite. However, I was very impressed recently by Christina's rendition of 'A Song for You' with Herbie Hancock.

I think Celine Dion is by far the most talented vocalist alive right now. I think that Whitney used to hold this record but unfortunately she has kinda messed up her voice with all the smoking and supposive drug abuse.

I don't think anyone could hold a candle to Aretha Franklin back in the day but her voice has changed a lot through the years and she sounds like she strains when she goes for the high notes now. Barbara Streisand was awesome too in her day but, I think her ego and jealousy towards Celine have kinda ruined her.

I think Mariah Carey and Christina Aguilera are awesome singers but they tend to over sing. They show off their range way too much and it is annoying.

There are so many awesome female vocalist though. Mary J. Blige, Patti Labelle, Chaka Khan, Regina Belle, Oleta Adams, Yolanda Adams, Jill Scott, Angie Stone, India Irie, .... I could go on and on.

Whitney is the best vocally overall, no one could top her vocals, Celine could come close cuz they are both so trained and know what to do with their voices. No one can compare to Mary J's passion behind her music ... Christina is a throw-back to the singers that made music great back in the days of our grandparents... I love her.. she's also, who Mariah wishes she could be. As far as I'm concerned, Mariah can't touch any of these other singers cuz she can't sing live. .. well she can, but she can't sing live well and the only things that have helped her skyrocket in the charts are producers that are very good at fixing her voice in the studio and her willingness to sell her body ....

I love Whitney's voice,I think she has the voice of an angel. I also like Mariah and Celine.I used to like Christina until she started dressing so trashy.

I like Whitney... I think she is a strong independent woman who fought drug addiction and still has enough grace to be herself.. I think that is inspiring.. Also I can dance in my car to her music and make people think that I am on drugs...cause a few chain reaction accidents.. no biggie! I would say Mariah too but when I listen to her songs in my car my windshield craks...

Celine has a beautiful voice and is a beautiful and real person with real life issues. ie Cancer infertility etc.. the girl next door. Everyone else too much Drama in their history!
