Do not listen to what anyone says about your body. The only opinion that matters is yours. Also, NEVER EVER change for someone else. If they don't like you the way you are then they are not worth yout time and trouble. Don't put yourself in a position where you are being criticized and scrutinized. Negativity just breeds resentment. As Billy Joel would say, your man should "love you just the way you are."

I have the same problem...
like people at school think i'm anorexic or bulemic and i'm not
some people are just thin!
It just matters on how you feel about it, if you feel that you are too skinny than you should do sumthin bout it (but make sure to ask ur doc first, cuz if you just start eating more it could all just go to one place, thighs or tummy.)
I don't think you need to gain wieght, you sound healthy because your taking that class and you feel comfortable with the way you look.

I am 5'5 and I weigh 114lbs. I was a dancer and I workout about 3x's a week. I have always been considered skinny but I really can't help it. Thanks to my mom, I have her high metabolism so I can still eat whatever I want and I am over 25 yrs. old. Don't worry about your weight just make sure you eat three meals a day.

If your boyfriend is telling you to gain some weight, then you don't need to be with him. He should like you the way you are and the way you want to be. When you get older, being skinny is sexier!

Go to your doctor, have a check up and if he tells you that you are too thin, listen. Otherwise whether too thin or too large, it's no one's business but your own and making comments one way or the other is not productive.

i think that if u r comfortable with your wait then it is probley fine. some people say i am too skinny but i think i am fine. so i think u r probley fine too if u r too skinny it isnt good. but thats like you have no stomach and your ribs just stick out. use your own jugdement that usally works best.

i'm 5'8 and wiegh 120lbs, everyone thinks i'm anerexic but i;m not, i EAT. I think it's when you're tall and not fat, people think you're too skinny. if you feel healthy, your doctor thinks your fine, then they should all leave you be. I think America is just used to being fat & when you aren't, it's like an oober shocker.

I think being slim is far more better that being obese, and if you significant other can't comply, just tell him it's better than crying that you can't lose the weight... Stay healthy and slim...YOUR A DANCER

Eh, forget what everyone else says. Unless a doctor tells you that you are underweight, then you are just fine.
