I have gone every year since I was 4..I am 30 now.....and no after awhile it get to be too much...Tourist who dont know anything about Mardi Gras gives it a bad name

have been to Mardi Gras many times, every year, live in Louisiana about 45 minutes to one hour west of New Orleans and the way you know you had a great Mardi Gras is not being able to remember it. although things are more a lot more calmer, i have children now... come back and visit us real soon Mardi Gras is great but we always have wonderful things going on all the time.

i lived in louisiana for a while and i love mardi gras its so awesome i havent been in a while though cause i live in ohio now

i went to the mardi gras in galveston in 2002. i wasn't overly impressed

I was there in 2004 & 2005, The men were women & the women were men!! Great time, going back this year!!

My ( then girlfriend now my wife ) were there in 1998, we both thought it was very overrated.
