I take it you have not been before. I am an American in Kiev at present time. You will love Yalta region and if you are a beer (piva) drinker you will find yourself very happy with quality and price if you are drinking local brews. At a bar you might pay a premium of up to U.S. $2.00 but when buying Obolon or others at a local market it will range from 17 cents to 30 cents for 20 ounces. The local brews are excellent, I dont understand those that vacation here and want to by Becks or even worse Corona. :) Have a good holiday and enjoy the beautiful country and people. Just try to fit in and have a very open mind with your experience. Dont expect some luxuries you might have had on other holidays. The people, food, beer and country will take your breath away.
