Isn't it great to see ARod finally hit in the clutch? Against yet another bad team? Wouldn't it be something if he could do that against a good team in October?

This coming from a lowly Braves Fan. :-/

According to ESPN the top 3 players with walk-offs (a game winning single, double, triple or home run) for last season and this season are David Ortiz with 10 game winning hits, Albert Pujols with 8 game winning hits and Orlando Cabrera with 7 game winning hits. A-Rod is no where to be found on that list and probably never will be, he's just not a gamer.

A clutch hitter is where a player gets a hit when the team needs it the most and is under the pressure.

A clutch hitter is one who gets a basehit when his team needs one the most (in the clutch)--therefore that rules out a($$)-rod.

The only time the time the yankees get to play in October are the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of Oct.

After that, they are finished.
