Question for teen girls?

Hi girls! I have a 15 yr old daughter who is visiting her father for the summer out of the state. Gosh, I miss her so much. When she comes home I want to surprise her with some presents but need to know what you teens like these days! What's the most popular perfume right now? What kind of purses do you like? Hottest sandals and sneakers for teens? Any other cool suggestions?

maybe make her a welcome home gift basket. Fill it with coconut, strawberry or beachy/summery-scented lotions, soaps, etc. I know a big perfume that all my younger cousins are wearing is the Britney Spears "fantasy" it smells something like cotton candy with a twist. Put some pretty lipglosses in it (maybelline makes these awesome ones called Shiny-licious... they're sheer, shiny and have different 'flavors').

Depending on her style, too, Old Navy Flip Flops are the best! They have them in every color you can imagine. Maybe pick out a few colors for her (they're only like 2 for $5) http://www.oldnavy.com/browse/category.do?cid=12821

also, maybe add in a gift certificate to the movies so she can take a friend or two with her.

Im not a teen (im 26) but I used to work in the corporate office of a popular retail store on the west coast and have a little insight in fashion. I would check out clothing stores geared towards her style. Does she like skate, surf, or moto styles? Is she more Urban or hip hop? She girly girly? Below are some link to sites for teen girls that should help you with some fashion trends. Ask one of her friends to. Sometimes different things are popular in different schools and areas!
Also, if your still not sure why dont you take her on a mother daughter shopping day! That way you can enjoy time together and she can get something that she wants. If you dont want to break the bank give her a set amount of dollars in cash when you hit the mall.

YOu shouldn't get her shoes or sandals cuz thats something ppl have to pick out for themselves.
Abercrombie perfume is really nice.
If you want to go all out, you could get her a laptop! She'd love that (but not if she never goes on the computer)
An american express gift card, although it is a little less personal
with the gift card tho you can have fun girls day, go shopping she can use the $ on the card, and then take a trip to a beauty salon! Then go out to dinner
Definatley a nice card saying how much you missed her.
Maybe a magazine subscription, seventeen, cosmo girl things like that

Here are some good options. For perfume lacoste pink smells amazing and is great for teens. Coach purses are really in right now. you could asl oget her sunglasses: coach, chanel, christian dior. Abercrombie and Fitch and Hollister both have really adorable sandels. Makeup would also be good. you could get her some exspencive lip gloss or lipstick from dior or chanel. A gift certificate to Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister, or any other store that your daughter really enjoys to shop at. Another option would to take her on a shopping spree letting her pick out items she really enjoys. Also if your daughter does not allready have an Ipod or a cellphone that would be a great gift. If she does not have her own computer that could also be one of those gifts that she would go crazy for. I hope these items can inspire some ideas for items of your own or allow u to get a gift from this list.

A am 15 years old also and most girls including me love expensive make-up that normally we would not buy. A cool new cd is the new "pink cd called stupid girls.". some cool perfume is "fantasy" by britney spears. You can buy fantasy at claires. super flashy purses are really cool right now. Sandals that have high wedges and lots of ties and glitter are awsome for any teen girl. etnies skate shoes are so in style in every school ive heard of! I know if i were gone all summer, id like electronics also. A T.V.,ipod,mp3 player, walkman, boom box, computer, laptop, or phone.

I'm 15 and I know I would like one of those credit cards that are gift cards so I can buy whatever I want. Some cool sunglasses, some wedge shoes, and an I-Pod. But when all else fails, since she's with her father take her on a mini vacation so she can spend some time with you, like a girls night out. Go to the spa or an amusement park, because material things can never compare to some good quality time with your mom :)

For purses, I would say Coach, or Marc Jacobs.. but they are too expensive to get her if its not her birthday or anything. Sandals are a great idea! WEDGES are hot this summer, or a nice pair of flats. Colorful sneakers such as PUMAS or CONVERSES are nice too, but personally I prefer wedges. Also, make-up, if she's allowed to wear it is also a nice surprise! A gift card to Sephora or M.A.C is every teen's wish! Also, giftcards to other cool stores, such as Urban Outfitters, American Eagle or Abercrombie. Good Luck!

well a great present to get is a purse. during my 13th birthday, my parents got me a coach purse. then on christmas, they got me a louis vuitton purse. or even better yet, just get her clothes. anything like abercrombie or hollister clothes.
