Ok, so my junior year is almost here and I am directing a high school men's choir for their spring concert. They are a bunch of fun loving guys who like to sing more pop-ish oldie songs like Billy Joel and Queen I'm not sure what song I want to direct yet, any suggestions?

Please stay away from Bohemian Rhapsody, that song is so over done. Anything by Billy Joel would probably be good. I like alot of the older stuff like My Life, Big Shot, Piano Man, Only The Good Die Young (not sure if that is the correct name or not.) Some old Elton John might be good too.

Queen - I Am Immortal
Love Spit Love - How Soon Is Now
James Brown - Play That Funky Music White Boy
Beach Boys - The Lion Sleeps Tonight
The Temptations - Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch
The song at the end of the movie Grease - "We Go Together" (I think they'd really like that one)

I love Billy Joel songs but to pick just one song isn't easy. Have you discussed with the members of the choir. They might have something they like to sing and you can have them vote on it instead of you making the decision.
