Generally speaking, what you've seen isn't much more than a speck on the 'Global' timeline. The earth moves in cycles. These cycles rotate on a scale of hundreds and thousands of years. Until you've seen the weather from the last thousand years, you can't make any judgement calls about a specific change.

Not to negate the danger of global warming. But it's not something significantly affecting us right now. Right now it's at a stage where we can do something to correct it. And if we do not, my great great grandchildren aren't going to be able to play outside without sunblock, spf 100,000,000.

You've never seen flooding like this cause you haven't been alive that long or paid any attention before. There are floods every year. I haven't heard about any out of the ordinary flooding. Anyway global warming is alive and well but there are only going to be gradual small changes over time. Nothing big at once.

Please see my answer in the geology section to the global warming question. The poor scientists on this planet are running in circles trying to explain all of the phenomena they see with a theory/model system taught to them that has no real basis in logic or actual earth science. The scientists/governments reactions to this normal earth cycle/experience is appaling. The youth on this planet will be awoken by me ,so they may be the start of the new paradigm, without their heads stuck in the sand ,wondering why the atmosphere is gritty.LOL We definitely need to improve our air quality in many areas and fix our pollution problems, but global warming is not something we can fix,we could ameliorate the effects of some of the weather systems by tasking the grid as Mr.Tesla did,but first we must move the present shills out of the way, because their agenda does not line up with what is good for the earth or humanity as they serve only themselves.Global warming will subside, but will the unconsciousness of the people??

Do not get "Global Warming" and "Climate Change" confused. "Climate Change" is happening, but not because of "Global Warming". It is a natural process that will bring about the ultimate end...a pole shift that will occur around December 22, 2012. This will cause devistation like you have never seen or heard of. It is starting to happen now, but the Earth wants to try and remain balanced. However, it can only hold on for so long before it tips. Ever heard of the Chandler Wobble? Simply put, the pole doesn't stay in one place. It used to move in a relatively predicatable pattern. This pattern is no longer predictable and all who monitor it are quite afraid of the consequences. Get ready for a bumpy ride!

Global warming may be a contributor - though it was probably just primarily because of the persistent onshore flow around an Atlantic High. Once that stopped the heavy rains over a large area of the mid-Atlantic & NE disappeared.

Yet I have always been hearing it was supposed to be another hurricane causing flooding in the SE this year.

while the weather hasnt exactly gotten worse, b/c there have always been bad hurricanes and flooding ( i lived through the flood of '93 and it was bad) it HAS become a more frequent problem

while hurricanes arent exactly STRONGER than they were before, they are happening more often.

and there isnt a CREDITABLE scientist today that doesnt believe that Global Warming is real and posing a real threat to our way of life.

I don't know about the flooding but I am concerned too - we lived in Maine over last winter and we only had 2 blizzards. It only ever got about 20 degrees and most days was above 35!!!

Global Warming is happening, but it is natural, not our fault. We an hurt the earth but we cant destroy what we didn't create. The weather is natural too.
