Pictures of my girls with their dresses behind glass. Let me explain. I had saved the dresses that both of my daughter's wore on the first day of school. One christmas, my sister gave me these two huge gifts. I opened them up and there was two big frames with my daughter's kindergarten school pictures behind glass along with the dresses that they wore on the first day of school, they are also wearing the same dresses in the pictures, plus there was also a little picture that each of them had drawn. My daughters are now in their 20's so you can only imagine how much I love that gift, I couldn't stop crying.

I bought a nice well designed crystal vase for someone's wedding after spending weeks looking for the perfect one. She burst into tears because nobody else had thought about all the flowers she was going to receive on her big day, that made me feel I'd done a good job!

My mum bought me a copy of a poem that meant a lot to me and which I had been looking for for a while. It only cost about 50p but it meant so much to me. Also when she bought me my first bible.
Infact, just about every gift I have ever got from my mum is so well thought out and exactly what I've needed.

when i was 11or 12 i borrowed "Ann of green gables" from the school library, i liked it so much that i borrowed it at least 5 more times during that school year. my mom picked up on that and bought me the book at the end of the school year and 2 months later the sequel on my birthday and the third on the holidays. I've read and re read them a thousand times.

My kids got their portrait taken and gave the pictures to me for Christmas. The large 11x13 was framed and is hanging in the livingroom. I have a smaller one hanging in my cubicle at work.
