The first thing is male or female friend???? If a female you need to sit the person down and let them know that you need to focus on your life right now. That you and her wouldn't be able to hang out and that you so sorry. If a male you need to tell him that you can't hang out with him for people are starting to get the wrong idea about the two of you. Maybe you can hang out again sometime in the future but not right now. Good Luck

First off u need to be honest with them and this way u will have some face left so u can go on with life u just have to be open about this ..Honesty is the best policy. U sometimes have to do things u would rather have someone else do for u but be strong and take care of your own problems

You actually don't have to tell them. Just stop hanging out with them. Be too busy to talk when they call, and turn down invitations to be where they are going to be. Eventually, they will get the point and if you have done this tactfully, they won't be hurt.

Be as Honest as you can, you don't need to worry about feeling at this point, your resin for ending this friendship I don't know but if you play friend to this person that can get ugly, DO THE RIGHT THING!

You can't tell someone you don't want to be their friend anymore without hurting their feelings. You can tell them with an explaination and hope that they understand.
