I am female, and would like something pretty but need a good artist and can't find one. I have asked a few tattoo artists and am not happy with their answers. (I live in New England if you know of one!) BTW it is on my shoulder.

Yes a good artist should be able to do somethin for you that isnt bigger black stuff. It is true they can cover black with lighter colours especially if your black is faded and older. Thay can work wonders go talk to a few an see what they say. Laser removal is good (expensive) but hurts quite a bit more then gettin the tattoo put on in the first place.

Your only option is to remove it. Painful and expensive. But trying to "cover" a spreading black tattoo will only make it worse. See a dermatologist, not a needlemeister.

try Kat V Don- best tattoo artist ive ever seen. its gonna cost you a pretty penny but she can do it right. check out either True Tattoo in Cali or Miama Ink in Miama. Chris Garver down there is one of the best tattoo artist down there. they do cover ups real good.

yeh ,with a black tattoo cover up, other wise no, unless lazer removal.
