i know people who have done weight watchers and it really works without exercising IF you stick to the plan. exercising will help you lose the weight faster. i know going to the gym can be scary so maybe you can find a friend to go with you. if you really just do not want to go to the gym try some exercise videos. there's one out called the firm that really works. you can go to their website to order them. they do a lot of work with the "firm fanny lifter" and you can only get it through the website. don't worry if you can't do the whole workout or if you can't do it exactly as they do it. the more you do it the better you will get. i bought their videos 3 years ago and i couldn't even do 10 minutes. no i can do the whole workout and i can even do some of the higher intensity versions.
if your husband says he won't leave you, believe him and don't dwell on that. i gained over 100 pounds in 10 years and my husband never made me feel like i was any less attractive than i was when we met. i've lost 65 pounds now and i am in better shape than i've ever been in my life. i still have more weight to lose, but i know i'll make it. if you need a friend to talk to you can e-mail me.

sounds like already know what to do. If you're pregnant the most you should do is talk walks, and eat healty for you and your baby. If you are worried about retaining weight after the baby is born, I understand, I did. But, alot of it is genetics (look at your mom and your dad's mom ask them if they had trouble losing the weight afterwards) the other part is up to you to get back in shape afterward. Since your husband attends a gym already, just go with him, if you can and work out. Plus, you'll get to meet any friends he has at the gym, and more importantly, they'll meet you.

After having a baby, while breast feeding is one of the easiest times to lose weight. Put that baby in a stroller and get out there and walk - 30 to 60 minutes a day. Watch what you eat, drink lots of water and maybe join a mommy and me class that will get you and your baby both doing little exercises.

water helps a lot. if you feel like you need to eat, but you know that you don't really NEED to, drink a glass of water and wait 15 min. the craving will have disappeared. also after the baby is born, you could put it in the stroller and take long walks to get it to sleep or something. and maybe he doesn't really love you if he would leave you...you should relax and if he says he loves you and won't leave you, believe it, unless there are other problems in your relationship

It's important for you to keep active. It's hard to start back after you have the baby. Swimming is good. So are brisk walks.
The main thing is don't get so down on yourself that you create a problem with your marriage. (IE "I'm so fat you don't love me.") Then you become a different person than the woman your husband married. (Keep saying it and it will come true.)

While you are pregnant, make sure you do not gain more than the recommended amount because anything over that is on you! After you give birth, eat healthfully, exercise and breastfeed. Breastfeeding alone will burn 500 calories a day!
