I don't think he can. Powell seems to be the only that can run the 100m that fast.

What are you talking about? Gatlin HAS run 9.76. His time was fractionally slower that that (9.766) so it had to be rounded up to the next 100th of second. He can run faster, no doubt. I believe he'll crack 9.70.

The problem is that these two won't face each other without a world championship or Olympic Medal on the line...or a HUGE pay day...
