I know who they are, but most middle schoolers don't. I'm a teacher and I've asked before. I had students who didn't know who The Beatles were, even though they were wearing their shirts. Go figure.

I'm not one of those kids but I wonder the same question all the time. I saw a 10 y/o wearing an Abbey Road shirt the other day and thought "what?"

They're an Australian rock band (one of the best)
Their albums include
Volts
Let there be rock
fly on the wall
the razors edge
T.N.T
Highway to hell
Bonfire

I know my AC/DC
And what does it matter if they're wearing their t-shirts.
It's not against the law or anything.

I'm not big into AC/DC, but I do have Back in Black on my iPod. I have a friend who loves AC/DC, he uses the screen name Angus. I'm only 25 by the way.

As the parent of a teenager who actually listens to the Beatles and has several of their CD's, I've discovered a new trend. The kids are listening to our music, and we're listening to more of theirs. It's not uncommon in our household for our daughter to be listening to the Grateful Dead in her room while we're listening to Tool in the living room. I'd wager that if you strike up a conversation with one of the kids wearing the shirts you'll find that they possess as much ( or more ) knowledge about "our" music as we do.

I don't know who they are (or really care) but I don't wear their shirts either. My brother does and could not only name their albums but also sing a few of their songs for you. Answer your question?

yes! but i don't have any of their shirts. that bugs me too when they don't know about the band whose shirt they are wearing. a girl at my school was wearing a Ramones tee and didn't even know who they are. i asked her if she knew, and she said, "i think it's some band or something..." i proceded to chew her out. People- Respect the music and the musicians! Don't be phoneys!

it is true that most kids know them dont but we dont have to prove ourselves to you whoever you are. and by the way two of them are back in black and who made who. and just because they dont know or care who ac/dc is it's their fault cause they are awesome. and i want a t-shirt but i dont have one. and i also know who the beetles are thank you. dang old people who think kids are idiots well you know not all of us are. and just because it came from your generation doesnt mean all kids dont know it
