...But when 2 american boys get mutilated and slaughtered by insurgents, within 1 week no one seems to care anymore???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone agree? Let's get mad America! Or do we not get mad because our anger has NO influence on what the president does or what the media reports? Are we a beat down society hiding behind freedom and riches?

Okay that's 3 questions, sorry.

1. I'm sick of the Bush administration violating laws because they think that they are above them.

2. I still am saddened about the two american soldiers, but I do not want to be reminded of their horrible deaths every day. And I'm sure their families do not want to turn on the TV and have to hear about them being tortured to death.

3. I'm angry that our anger has NO influence on what the administration does or anything else for that matter.

4. Yes.

It's not that we don't care about the 2 soldiers that were mutilated..the reason no one is reporting anything is becasue no new details have been released. The family has asked for privacy therefore they are getting it. And those soldiers are no different than the 2526 other soldiers that have died. You don't hear about them either. There is a lot that's wrong with this war and no matter how angry and upset we get at the situation, the president clearly doesn't care about out opinion. He is intent on fulfilling his agenda no matter what happens. If he cared the least bit about what's been happening, we wouldn't have been there in the first place and we wouldn't still be there. There are also a lot of people out there who believe this war is a just war and are willing to pay for it with human lives. That's war unfortunately and until we get out of there, it's going to keep on happening.

OF COURSE WE DIDN'T KNOW!

WHY DIDN'T WE KNOW? OUR MEDIA WOULDN'T TELL US!

Instead of reflecting our love for our country and the
incredible job our people are doing in Iraq, we get
photos of flag burning incidents at Abu Ghraib and
people throwing snowballs at the presidential
motorcades. Instead of hearing reports on the amazing
progress being made, all we hear is suggestions that
it's time to get out.

The lack of accentuating the positive in Iraq serves
two purposes. It is intended to undermine the world's
perception of the United States thus minimizing
consequent support, and it is intended to discourage
American citizens. It appears to be working. You'd
better question the motives of the American media --
whose side are they on!

Sometimes I think our news media is working for our enemies.
Just look at the recent report by the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and the Washington Post about our tracking money. Americans should cancel their subscriptions to these papers and let them die a slow death. These reporters should be ashamed of themselves.

Well said. I was almost physically ill when I heard what those animals did to our service men. I felt even worse when I heard what some of the Democrat congress people had to say about it. Lets all remember this November who has stood up for our service men and women and who has not.

The news media caters to immigrants and stories such as that. I can't stand it either. I only watch Fox News when it comes to this crap anymore, because CNN will talk smack and try to start rumors.
