I'm not sure if lotions or lubes kill sperm, but because of the chemicals in them I imagine they may attack the sperm on some level. Just yesterday I read that if you have been trying to conceive for a few months with no luck, you should try taking cough syrup that contains guaifenesin. Check out the link below - it is a direct link to the article and the website has a lot of info for people like you who are trying to become pregnant.

RE:
Is lotion a sperm killer?
I don't want to give a lot of details but I was reading where lubes kill the sperm. So my question is does lotion kill sperm also? I am wondering because me and my bf have had sex almost everyday for the last 3 months (unprotected) and I have not become pregnant yet. He likes to have a handjob...

spermicide kills sperm, but there may be something in the lotion that may be slowing them down or something. I wouldn't take any chances with using regular lotion as birth control. I suggest using condoms. If you trust your man and forego the condoms, use a lubricant, a gel or jelly that has nonoxynol-9 or some other spermicide in it. Remember though, that these products are less effective than the condom and the pill.

Yes it does, almost anything you use kills sperm, including saliva. This is what I used and it is a great product! Pre-seed lubricant. You can only find it on line or on ebay. It is a vagina moisturizer, it is not sticky, it does not have any smell, I used it the first month I was TTC and I am 8 weeks pregnant today. This lubricant has an anzime that helps the sperm swim at a regular pace it does not interfere with movility and it helps it live longer. Good luck,

Nope, lotions don't have spermicide in them my dear. You're just a little scared, see your doctor perhaps.

As far as I know, only lubricants that have spermicide in them kill sperm.
