What is wrong with Hooters for Neuters?

Why are the feminists against the animal rights people? I thought LA was laid back? Here is the story from the LA times. I guess the big question is , can I get away with calling the City Controller a Chick? http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-bikini28jun28,0,5963738.story

Not thing is wrong with Hooters for Neuters. The feminist are really against Hooters and the animal right people are just guilty by association. A true feminist would respect and appreciate a women's choice and right to work, express, and general do what she feels as long as it is within the law. Hooters for Neuters seems like a good way to get a portion of a community that may not neuter there dogs or be an animal right advocate to come out and do the right thing. I do see maybe the gripe with the city being involved directly with a company that is constantly under attack for "objectifying women" I think that was a bad move on the cities part. You definitely can't call her chick, but you can call her Ms. Chick :)

It's simple. The feminists don't like animal rights people because they support female AND male animals.

Given their self-righteous hate against anything of the testosterone nature, they would also hate animals' rights people.

Hope that clears up the issue. I would not advise calling the City Controller a Chick--it would probably be offensive in that it is a reminder of the 1950s high school arena where women's rights were not quite expanded as they are now.

Nothing. What I would like to know is why is it the "exploitation" of women? Who's forcing the women to work there? Why isn't it considered taking advantage of the men who go there and leave big tips? I mean, unless you live under a rock, you know what Hooters is about before you take a job there. Right?

That is one of the dumbest ideas I've heard though I see nothing wrong with using whatever means to save lives even if its animals. And everyone knows, put a girl in bikini in front of a car and it sells, put her in front of fruit and it sells, get the point. Use what you can.

Because feminists are hypocrites who want to control women. Men have been controlling other men for centuries, (slavery). Now, women want to control women. Perhaps, not by force, but by pressure and politics. They claim women should have the right to do what they want. Yet, they oppose women who are contradicting their current agenda.

Everyone likes to think they are more liberal and edgy then everyone else. They also always think that their cause is the most important. The major weakness of liberals is that they won't come together or acknowledge each other's causes.
