I love "The Pretender", "Somebody's Baby","Doctor My Eyes"...he's written so many good songs that it's hard to pick a favorite.
He's very underrated.
To the first person that responded, he's actually written a lot of songs for other people too, specifically the Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, the Byrds. He was even in the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band for a while, too.

That is so weird that you asked that, I get Paste magazine and they did a article on the top 100 living songwriters. I was just reading Jackson Browne at #45. Great Writer, reminds me of being a kid. I like "These Days"

Doctor my eyes.... I saw him in concert once. He is one of the great songwriters of my generation(we are the same age).
